Port of Albany Stellamare Recovery

In December of 2003, a freighter the "Stellamare" sank at the Port of Albany due to a mishap while unloading cargo. David A. Flanders Surveying & Site Consultant, PLLC was called upon to set up survey control points for the monitoring of possible wharf movement during the heavy crane lifting operation, which took place during the week long recovery operation.
